This update on Lucia Pearl just came to me from her daughter, Liz.

On Thursday, Dec. 2, Mom was brought to the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab on Hospital Drive, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. We have not had a really good day since Wed., Dec. 1. She does know Peggy and me, but not sure she could call a lot of other people by name although she brightens when someone comes in.

Today we were called because of a very rapid heartbeat and pulse. She does have Atrial Fibrillation which we have known about for a couple years anyway. But this was quite out of whack and we just don't know what to think or hope for. It remains very sad.

I am home this PM for a few hours while Peggy sits as things have calmed down some. Mom is quite apt to be restless at night and has had and continues to have one on one care. We are still not able to get much food in her and she was too thin as it was!
