This update just came from Liz Sargent, about her mom, Lucia Pearl, who recently had a fall and is at Dartmouth Hitchcock recovering from brain surgery:

Tuesday was not a good day, but today, Wednesday (12/1) was about the best mentally I have seen Mom since the headache and surgery on Nov. 24th. She is very unhappy to not be able to come home and still isn't making sense some of the time.

We are hopeful if we can have two good days in a row, she will be able to come back to the NEK and stay at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab for a while, but that date is not set yet.

Keep your fingers crossed that she continues to improve and can get back up this way! We want our mother back, in more ways than one!
