This is just a quick note to let JPA members know that after investigating, we found out Cabot is contributing to the Milfoil Preventon Program. At the meeting on May 29th, it was brought up that no check had been received from them. I found out from clerk/treasurer Tara Rogerson the reason is that it was included in a long list of appropriations at town meeting and these do not get paid immediately, but checks will be sent. It was just a matter of timing and bookkeeping practices. Pam will be in touch with Tara regarding future requests.
