Beautiful spring morning - again!

We watched this guy pull this shanty across the ice from in front of Kyle Brown's over to the boat access....he was actually moving pretty fast! Unfortunately, the sun was right in the way.

He apparently had a harness arrangement so once he got the shanty loose from the ice and in motion, it was easy. Bill told Fred they watched him stop when he got to the Ice-Out pallet and seemed to be deciding what to do - go around or across the ropes. They couldn't tell which he chose so Fred is going down to check the ropes now. We're glad he got it off the ice today as it promises to be another slushy day with the sun beating down on the ice.

The forecast is for more seasonal weather next week - and maybe even a few snow flakes!
