We just learned that Barbara Davis of Morrisville, formerly of Cabot, passed away on January 30. Barbara and her husband, Robert, or Bob, as we all knew him, lived on Cabot Plain where Chef John Woods and his family now reside. Bob was general manager at Cabot Creamery. Barbara was a farmer, a maple producer, and a willing worker for the community while living here, and she will be remembered fondly. Our sympathy goes to Bob and their family. I was also shocked and saddened to learn of our friend, Paul Manghi's death. He died yesterday, so there isn't a complete obituary, just a short death notice. Paul and Elaine operated a small but excellent bakery on School Street in Montpelier when Fred and I worked there. We visited them often at the bakery. I'll post more as soon as it's available.
