We had this from John Randall (W. Shore Rd. and Long Island NY):

I had heard you speak of chef John Woods but didn't put 2 and 2 together till I saw the pictures from today's blog.
I know the eatery on wheels used to be down by the gas station in Montpelier. Then had seen it up on the plains by the tree farm. I think he will do OK in that spot with the snowmobilers. What a good menu!!! I may have to stop there for a bite. I didn't see any hotdog or ice cream though, so what would Fred and Bill be getting? --John Randall

John went on to say he and Jason are coming to do some snowmobiling this weekend. John and his family are long-time snowmobilers and know the ropes very well, following safety rules and acting responsibly. As some of you may know, there have already been six fatalities from snowmobile accidents here in Vermont this year, and several more in neighboring New Hampshire. We urge you to be extra careful if you are out on the trails, and especially if traveling across lakes or ponds. While we've had very cold weather, we also have a fairly deep snow cover that insulates the ice and it may still be thin in spots. Keep on the trails, travel at a sensible rate of speed, don't drink and drive, and obey the rules of the trail.
