We went to the Mooselook Restaurant in Concord for lunch today. Bill and Diane Rossi went with us and we met our son, Bill Dimick and his friend, Monika there. It is a bit rustic, but the
staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was very good. The menu is unpretentious, but there's something for just about everyone. Our table ordered a variety of food, hamburgers that were huge, very good westerns, a delicious hot turkey sandwich and a generous serving of fried haddock served with fish chowder. Most of us didn't have room for dessert, even though one of the offerings was freshly baked raspberry pie. It's a favorite spot for locals and truckers. There seemed to be a lot of p
eople out for Sunday dinn
er. While the restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside, we would certainly go there again. We all thought it reminded us a little of the TV show, "Northern Exposure." I wouldn't have been surprised at all to have found a moose in the parking lot. If you decide to go there, it's about half a mile east of Concord village, right on Rt. 2. Today it wasn't hard to spot because the parking lot was filled with cars and there aren't any other buildings nearby.
