Joe's Pond Fireworks
At dusk, July 3rd - Rain Date July 5th
To be launched from the railroad bed at the north end of the lake.
Boaters are asked not to go north of the islands during the display.
Drive safely. Enjoy the bigger-than-ever fireworks show
brought to you by the Joe's Pond Association.

The Cabot Historical Society will be open to the public on July 4th
from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Coffee, lemonade and homemade doughnuts.
The Declaration of Independence will be read aloud at
1:30 p.m., followed by a sing-along of patriotic songs.
Cabot Historical Society will be open to the public every Sunday in July

Bill and Diane Rossi are the proud owners of a new

shed. Gone is the brightly painted garden shed that has served so well for several years, and in its place is a nice new one, complete with overhead door. It is a very nice structure. Fred went to see it this afternoon. Today was very nice and pe ople were out enjoying various activities - or not - around the pond. Fred took a few pictures. Click to enlarge them.


Don't forget there will be a meeting of the Joe's Pond Association on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Recreation Area. This is our Annual Meeting and we hope you'll be there. Dues should have been paid by July 1, so if you haven't sent them in, be sure to do it at the meeting. There should have been an envelope for dues payment in your spring newsletter.
