Sad News

I know many of you will be saddened to learn of the death on Sunday, March 30th, of George Palmer, 225 Old Homestead Road. George was 84 and had recently been diagnosed with cancer. I'm sure his wife, Clara, and family would be comforted to hear from Joe's Pond friends. Condolences may be sent to the family at 4442 Hickman Rd., Greenwood DE 19950.

Some of you may also have known Allen Avery, owner of the Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee, Vermont. Mr. Avery, 64, died of a heart attack while on vacation in the Virgin Islands. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and children Jeff, Mark, Toby and Jennifer, and four grandsons, Bodie, Ty, Ezra and Luke. Condolences may be sent to P. O.
