Hello everyone from Arroyo Grande, Ca. My sister and husband were visiting their daughter who lives St Johnsburry and works at the state colege a while back. My sister called me and ask if I would like to spend a dollar on this crazy pool they had about when the ice would go off the pond. Sure, throw in a buck, sounds like fun. Then I had to pick a day. I ask when the ice went out last year and the made one of them SWAGs and picked Apr 25 at 5:15. I had forgot all about it until this afternoon when my sister called and ask me to pick some lotto numbers for her. Huhh?
Then she told me that you had called her and ask for Don, which happens to be her husbands name also and told them that I had won the ice out. She didn't have my address with her at the time, so she used hers. I was shocked to say the least. I'm hopping to be able to spend the money on a trip out there this fall to maybe see the ice come in. We used to live near Rhinebeck Ny and I had a sailboat at Shelborne while I lived there. We miss the fall season and have been trying for a few years to get out and see our niece and see the fall colors again. Maybe this year.
