I don't usually manage two blog entries a day, but this is such a nice story I want to share it. Diane just released information on this year's winner of Ice-Out. Here's what she wrote:
This is the best story….
The winner is John Vincent. He guessed April 17 at 8:38 pm. He is from
the Albany area, but now lives in Wadsworth, OH. His brother is a truck
driver and often goes by Hastings, stops, and buys stuff. Including
ice out tickets which he gifts to family members every year. John
himself has never been here, but follows the website. He tries to get
back to Albany occasionally to visit his mother, and may do that around
Memorial Day so he can come to our meeting and bring his mother and
maybe his brother. I think his name is Joe.
Congratulations, John, I hope you make it to our Spring meeting! I'm sure we'd all like to meet you and your mom and your brother, Joe.

3 minutes off!!!! thats pretty good....has anyone ever guessed the exact time or closer than 3 minutes??? this was my 1st year in the contest but not my last...i even got a few others to enter as well..
