Still Haninging In There - Literally!

We thought the clock would stop sometime during the night, but in spite of warmish temperatures, it is still hanging tough. Diane took this beautiful photo at about 6 this morning as the sun was coming up over the pond. A hole in the slushy ice, but there is enough ice to still hold the rope from tightening and stopping the clock. I'll let you know as soon as I get the word - but for now, the clock is still ticking!

Well, I'm really sorry but for some reason I'm unable to bring pictures into my blog as I normally do. Yesterday I found the entries weren't published after I'd finished them and I had to go back in and republish. Blogger.com has apparently changed something and things aren't working quite normally. I'll see what I can do to fix this - or somehow work around it. Sometimes I think Google wants to eliminate blogger.com entirely - they sure make things difficult!

So I did a work-around and here is the photo - better late than never!
