Fall Foliage in Cabot

The Fall Foliage celebration starts off in Cabot on Saturday. It will be a day-long celebration of the arrival of autumn in our region.Below are links to help you decide what to do and where to go, and the last link is a schedule of events coming up during the week following..This is a wonderful time to be in the Northeast Kingdom; there are interesting things to do, great food to sample, and with luck, beautiful foliage to view and photograph. We're getting there - Gretchen Farnsworth reported a light frost last night, and it seems each night gets just a tad chillier, so the leaves may brighten up in the next few days. The weather promises to be very nice right through next week.  The only problem is that the temperatures are probably going to be a little cooler than the predictions in the forecast - at least around Joe's Pond area. We are usually a little cooler than other spots, so if you are planning to be out and about, be sure you take an extra sweater or jacket, especially if you will be out early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Just sayin'!
