Race Results, JPA Sunfish Race

 Susan Bouchard reports:
It was a hot, humid day for the 1st Sunfish race this Sunday but there was a nice breeze for the sailors.

5) Rob Stewart

There certainly was plenty of wind, but that's what sailors are hoping for! Thanks to Susan for her photos, and to Jamie Dimick for his. I had told Jamie I'd go with him to watch the race today, but after I had lunch, the heat and humidity began to get to me and I decided perhaps being out on the water was not such a good idea for me, so I had a nap instead. Sometimes you just gotta go with what your body is telling you! After all these years, I have learned to pay attention.  Jamie sent these pictures.

You can see there was plenty of wind as the boats fought to get around the buoy at the finish line.  It was a fun race.
