Judy Turner

 We are very sad to tell you that Judy Turner, 79, wife of Joe Turner at Point Comfort, passed away on December 29th.  Judy and Joe have owned Point Comfort for about 20 years and we have come to know and appreciate them and their family. Judy was a lovely lady and was always cheerful and helpful, and I know she will be missed. The Turners have been members of the Joe's Pond Association since they came here all those years ago. I also just learned that a good friend, Frank Hubbard, 87, passed away on January 3. Frank worked at the St. Johnsbury School District when I worked there years ago, and he was also our neighbor when we lived on Lynwood Terrace. The Hubbards lived on Cliff Street that runs parallel to Lynwood Terrace, so it was an easy crossover from our yard to theirs and our children all went to school together. Frank was a fine educator and thoroughly nice person. His family and the community will miss him.
