It's definitely HOT out there this morning. I just did my walk up Jamie & Marie's driveway and I'm so glad to get back to the cool house. Fred is still out there, doing his run/walks - I think he does six in all - and he said he hasn't felt the heat yet. He has always been able to tolerate the hot weather way better than I can. It's a good thing I have plenty to do at my computer today. The last of the edits are coming in quickly now for Dot and me; Patty and Randee are working on the photos; we are moving ahead steadily.

Jamie Stewart found an article about our rail/trail that sounds really promising. Back in January, Governor Scott said he wanted to allocate 2.8 million for the trail - which would release much more in federal funds - but when the pandemic hit, I thought the plan was likely to be squelched. However, apparently the Governor is still holding steady on that. You can get the details HERE.
