JPA Board Meeting
The Board of
Directors held a meeting on June 20th and made the following
decisions:
Due to current
restrictions related to Covid 19 we have elected to cancel all remaining social
events related to JPA for the remainder of the summer.
We HOPE to
POSSIBLY have a fall meeting sometime in late August or over Labor Day
depending on the State recommendations at that time. If so we would encourage
social distancing and the use of masks.
We also would like
to consider a members only social gathering at the pavilion in late August but
again dependent on current recommendations.
The sailboat races
and fireworks will continue as planned.
Only one pavilion
rental is currently scheduled in mid-August and that may require cancellation.
No additional rentals are being considered at this time.
The
tennis/pickleball courts remain open for use.
The Board will be
meeting again on July 25 to consider any changes in our position and to further
evaluate the situation for possible August events
