We are very happy to report that the lost dog, Teddy, is back home. There was a post on Front Porch Forum tonight! I have reached out to Bryant, his owner, to find out a few details, but haven't heard back from him yet. I'm sure Teddy is as happy as his humans are. Thank you to everyone who was keeping an eye out for him.
I'm not sure what's going on, but it seems like there have been more stray animals roaming around this year than ever before! I guess it really isn't safe to let domestic animals roam free. Sometimes you cannot prevent them getting loose and heading off on their own, like Teddy did, but they are important members of the family and need a watchful eye every minute.
I'm wondering if any of you recognize these cottages? These are all old photos, property of the Danville Historical Society, and we would like to be able to use them in our book, but without names of owners, it wouldn't mean much. We have lots of others that have been identified, but I thought I'd try to find out more about these before we give up. Thank you for any help you can lend.
