Here we are, almost Thanksgiving and getting ready for more crazy weather just in time for holiday travel! Sometimes you just can't win over the weather. We still have plenty of snow on the ground, but after the rain later today, that will likely change. We could get snow, but that's pretty unlikely. It's about 40 degrees here at mid-day, but that doesn't prove much and could change dramatically. The fog we had earlier this morning has lifted and we have a little breeze picking up that will move things along.

I just realized that if you have this blog automatically delivered to your mailbox, you don't
see the banner at the top of the page! Therefore, my dedicated readers (bless you!) don't see my "Happy Thanksgiving" message. To fix that, I've posted it here - my Thanksgiving Day greeting card!

Fred and I both have much to be thankful for and we want everyone who goes to the Joe's Pond website (his creation) or my blog to know we wish all of you the very best Thanksgiving Day ever. If you are traveling, be safe, enjoy family and friends, and all the good food and fun that comes with gathering for this special day. As someone said to me recently - it's the best holiday of the year - no worries about gifts, just plenty good food, family and friends.
