If
you're going to publish such drivel on the blog, at least attribute it
to an author so there is someone to take responsility for inaccuracies
in their writings and own their opinions.
The
author states that the "JPA's mission statement is about protecting the
waters". False. For one thing, JPA doesn't have a mission statement.
The bylaws state that "The
object of the Association shall be to improve the surroundings of
the lake, and to promote the general welfare.".... vague at best....
neither the word "protect" nor the word "water" are anywhere to be
found.... the author is making stuff up or perhaps wishing for something
other than what is.
The
reality is that the water quality of Joe's Pond is as good as it has
ever been. Also, the no wake zone is within 200' of shore... not 250'
of shore as the author stated.
Whoever
wrote that sounds all high and mighty but doesn't have their facts
straight at all.... it must be nice to hide behind anoynmity. If the
author isn't willing to stand behind their writings then they shouldn't
be published. If they can't get their facts straight then why should we
believe their opinions?
