We are at camp today, Saturday, and someone's wooden raft is just off shore.
Thanks, Ivana Argenti

You'll find the raft (or dock) in the middle pond, on the shore next to Route 2. The Argenti camp is 3480 Rt 2W. Thanks, Ivana, I'm sure someone will be looking for it. 'Tis the season for locating and retrieving all sorts of things that tend to float off in the winter. It shouldn't be quite as bad as some years since we haven't had high water this spring.

Our day turned out to be pretty nice. We had an overcast beginning, but by early afternoon, the sun was out and it was very nice. We saw the "super moon" tonight, but didn't think to look until it was quite far over the horizon. Still, it was unusually large and very beautiful.

We went to granddaughter Jo-Ann's dance recital in Lyndonville this afternoon. Fred took lots of pictures, but I haven't had time to re-size them for the blog yet. I'll do that tomorrow. The whole show was about two hours, but lots of fun. Jo-Ann appears to enjoy dancing, and we really enjoyed seeing her. Her baby sister, Tangeni, was there, too, with Mom and Dad. This was the final show of at least three performances, and Mom, Dad and Tangeni have been on hand for all of them. It is amazing - there are a lot of kids dancing, so it's logical that there would be lots of parents who turn out for it; but this performance was sold out. People were standing - no seats available, or if they were, there was only a single seat buried in the middle of a row someplace that nobody could find. We thought we were early - about 20 minutes ahead of show time - but we had to park way across the road at the Fenton Chester Arena parking lot. By the time we got parked and had hiked to the auditorium, it was filled up. Bill and Monika had saved seats for us, fortunately. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Another Adventure

This week turned out to be a doozie for me. I had anticipated going for a follow-up on my knee on Monday, but instead ended up in the ER at ...
