Danville Route 2 Project

 THURSDAY, MAY 3, 2012 –

Smith Street will be closed to thru traffic while crews continue to install utility duct banks along the entire street.  Local traffic will have access to businesses and residents on Smith Street.  Motorists are encouraged to use Park Street or Peacham Road as an alternate route around the Green.  This closure is expected to last through the end of the week.

Park Street and Peacham Road will be open to two-way traffic.

Crews will continue installing drainage pipe at Walden Hill Road and work their way west. This work will require alternating one-way traffic around the work zone.
