Danville Route 2 Project

WEDNESDAY, MAY 2^ND –

Smith Street at the intersection of Park Street will be closed to thru traffic.  Local traffic will have access to businesses and residents on Smith Street.  Motorists are encouraged to use Park Street or Peacham Road as an alternate route around the Green.  This closure is expected to last through the end of the week.

Park Street will be reduced to alternating one-way traffic near the Danville Post Office.

Peacham Road will be open to two way traffic.

Removal of contaminated soil in the Passumpsic Bank front parking lot and the Danville Service Station is complete. 

Crews will continue installing drainage pipe at Walden Hill Road and work their way west. This work will require alternating one-way traffic around the work zone.
