Danville Route 2 Project

WEEK OF 5/7/12

Utility Duct Bank Installation -

MONDAY, MAY 7^TH AND TUESDAY - MAY 8^TH - ROUTE 2/HILL STREET: 

Crews will be excavating across Route 2 from Peacham Road to Hill and along the west side of Hill Street for utility duct bank installation.  

TRAFFIC PATTERN:  Peacham Road will be one-way only between Route 2 and Park.  Motorist will be able to turn down Peacham from Route 2 only while crews are active in the construction zone. 

Motorists travelling to Route 2 from Peacham Road will be re-routed to Park Street.

Traffic control will be present to direct motorists.

Route 2 Roadwork:

Monday and Tuesday, crews will finish up drainage work on the west end of the project.  This work will require alternating one-way traffic.

Starting Wednesday and continuing through the end of the week, crews will be reclaiming and grading the existing roadway from the Passumpsic Bank to the west end of the project.  Travel will be reduced to alternating one-way traffic around the construction zone.
