We have spring weather this morning. Bright sunshine, after a weak start, and soaring temperatures - my coldest reading at the back of the house is 35 degrees, in the front where there's been sun for a while, it's a few degrees warmer, but there's a brisk north wind that will keep us from getting too giddy with the heat. At least we don't have any rain or major snow in the forecast.

You may have seen information on local TV stations about outbreaks of a the extremely contagious norovirus. There have been scattered cases in some schools and within the general public. These pesky germs seem to come around in cold weather, but when the weather is changeable, as it's been this winter, I think they are often become rampant. Just be careful to wash your hands frequently and stay out of crowds, if you can.
