Here are a couple of You-tube posts I just received from daughter-in-law, Theresa. They were done last month in Peacham. You'll see Bob Dimick (middle son) on keyboards, Matt Scholler harmonica and vocals, Gordy Gourlay on drums, and Bill Simms on guitar. The first two songs are originals written by Matt. The third is one lots of you will remember, "Wait."
Bob, Matt and Gordy were all students at Peacham School where Bob and Gordy were part of the Peacham School Band. Matt lives in Chicago now and you'll find more of his original music when you go to the YouTube site. Here it is: www.youtube.com
Matt didn't play with Bob and Gordy at Peacham School, but his older brother, Larry, did. Matt was younger and I guess hadn't found his niche yet. You'll see lots of Matt's clips on that page - he is a well known musician in the Chicago area and I believe Bob told me he has traveled quite a bit playing his music. I clicked on some of his other posts after I'd listened to the two from the Peacham festival.
This is not the kind of music either Bob or Gordy usually play, but both are very experienced musicians in their own right and with a very little practice, were able to play with Matt and Bill. I might add that Bob and Gordy have remained in touch and good friends over the years, and Gordy gave Bob's wife, Theresa, drum lessons. She is the drummer for their group, RickshaRadio, with Bob and Jamie. You can hear clips from their latest album on their website, www.ricksharadio.com
