According to WCAX news last night, construction is to be suspended for at least the remainder of this week and possibly longer so they can get traffic control straightened out.
Also, many who know summer resident Daniel Colford, will be sorry to learn the fire on Route 15 yesterday was his home. The house is a total loss. Mr. Colford was hurt slightly when we went into the burning house to try to save his dog. Sadly, he was unable to save his pet. Daniel, or "Danny" as many of us know him, has spent many summers at Joe's Pond - years ago with his family. No word on how the fire started.
