I need to be quick about this because it's almost lunch time and we have left-over pizza waiting . . .
Fred was up early taking pictures this morning. It's another beautiful day and although it started out cold, as you can see in his picture of the thermometer, it has warmed up to about 35 degrees now, at noon. The sun is beautiful - I feel inspired to get out on snowshoes this afternoon. You can see that we have quite a bit of snow, and it hasn't packed down much because we really haven't had much really warm weather.
Homer Fitts called last night needing more Ice-Out Contest tickets to take to Florida. He and Margaret are leaving in a few days, so this morning Fred put them in the mail at West Danville. Homer has already sold a lot for us - as he always does.
While at the store, Fred inquired about Jane Larrabee, who has been under the weather for a while. She has viral pneumonia, but is at home as the doctors feel it is safer than running the risk of picking up an infection at the hospital. We wish a speedy recovery for Jane, and we're told she is up and about and checks her e-mail, but she isn't in the store at all. I'm sure she'd like to hear from any of you by e-mail if you have it (I will have it soon, but don't right now), or regular mail: Jane Larrabee, P. O. Box 58, W. Danville VT 05873.
