This notice came from JPA President Tom Dente today at about 1:30 p.m.:
I just went down to the dam to see how it was operating with all this rain. The bladder is down indicating maximum flow over the dam and the sluice gate is open providing another means of reducing water in the pond. GMP appears to be on top of our weather and a flooding potential.
Tom
According to what I've measured in my back yard, we've had a little over 2 in. of rain so far this month, most of it yesterday in the last couple of days. Thanks to Tom for keeping an eye on it for everyone around the pond.
