Fred's been down to check the clock. From our deck we can see that there is open water most of the way across in back of the islands. That opened up during the night. We have a westerly wind today, and that will move things around a bit. The cove where the flag is looks a bit darker than it did yesterday and Fred said the brook between Hamilton's and the Dimick cottage has an extended open swath into the pond now. Here are some pictures. The clock with temperature and humidity is next door to Homer's at Sue and Eric Martin's cottage. We are a little cooler here on our hill - it's only about 62 degrees in the shade - very nice in the sun, though, and we have plenty of sunshine so far.

Happy Easter to everyone from both of us.
