I have spotted a young eagle flying over the the lake twice in the last week, I was able to get the binoculars on it and identify the bird. My attention was drawn to the sighting as the Loons were
really making a fuss in front of the camp and the eagle was flying over the loons.


I'm guessing the eagle would be a real threat to the chicks. Here's a link to more loon information: Journey North
